Thorne Ambassador-Customer Agreement
The Thorne Ambassador-Customer Agreement describes the terms and conditions for your participation in Thorne's Ambassador-Customer program. The terms "Ambassador," "you," and "your" are referring to you, the applicant. The terms "we" and "our" refer to Thorne.
As a condition of an Ambassador-Customer who resides in the United States receiving cash commissions from Thorne, the Ambassador-Customer must complete the Ambassador-Customer account sign-up process and submit his or her Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) to Thorne, which will enable Thorne to transmit an IRS Form 1099-MISC to the Ambassador-Customer at the end of the calendar year.
Agreement Duration
This Ambassador-Customer Agreement will become effective on our acceptance of your Ambassador-Customer application and will end when it is terminated by either party within the program.
Thorne reserves the right, in its sole discretion, at any time and without notice, to terminate this Ambassador-Customer Agreement. The exercise of this right, however, will not affect the status of any existing cash commission that is still due and payable to the Ambassador-Customer.
Ambassador Link Usage
As an Ambassador-Customer, we will provide a personalized online link for you to share and have your audience use, and ultimately purchase through, to obtain your cash commissions. This online link is not to be shared on any public coupon/discount website, including but not limited to retailmenot.com, couponsock.com, or other similar websites. Any such unauthorized sharing will result in immediate forfeiture of associated commissions and may lead to immediate termination from the Ambassador program.
General Information

By becoming a Thorne Ambassador-Customer, you will be representing a company that challenges industry standards and creates products with the highest quality ingredients in a clean manufacturing process while protecting the environment.
We want our Ambassador-Customers to proudly represent the Thorne brand, lifestyle, and culture. If you are self-optimizing, ambitious, and share our brand culture, then we would love for you to apply.
Ambassador-Customer hereby grants Thorne a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use Ambassador-Customer's name, likeness, image, and content created as part of the Ambassador program for Thorne's marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to use on horne's social media channels and website. Ambassador-Customer agrees to cooperate with Thorne regarding the rights granted under this Agreement, subject to applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Thorne agrees that it will ensure that any such social media posts and activity permitted herein are in compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations (including but not limited to disclosure requirements, confidentiality obligations, privacy restrictions, and/or applicable department, agency, or commissions).
We ask our Ambassador-Customers to:
- Drive sales to www.Thorne.com (our retail website) using social media, word of mouth, and any other reasonable means
- Promote Thorne products through authentic content on social media, blogs, or other platforms, using their unique affiliate links and discount codes.
- Engage with Thorne’s private Facebook group to stay informed, participate in discussions, and foster community interaction.
- Disclose clearly and conspicuously their affiliate relationship in all promotions per FTC guidelines.
- Avoid sharing their affiliate links on public coupon or discount websites.
- Actively use the Affiliate Hub for tracking performance, accessing resources, and improving their campaigns.
Compensation
Affiliates earn commissions based on their monthly sales performance and tier:
Affiliate Bronze: 10% commission.
Preferred Affiliate Silver: 15% commission
Ambassador Gold: 20% commission
Payments are processed monthly through our management platform via PayPal. A minimum payout threshold of $100 applies; all earned commissions are paid out in full after a short 14-day holding period to account for potential returns or fraud. Affiliates can monitor their payouts by logging into their accounts on our management platform.
Social Media Content
As an Ambassador-Customer, you agree to discuss and promote Thorne products in a reasonable manner. We encourage you to be unique, creative, and authentic when posting and sharing.
In any messaging disseminated by the Ambassador-Customer related to Thorne product experiences, the Ambassador-Customer must refrain from making any health claims about Thorne products that do not comply with the federal Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA). Thorne products cannot be referenced in any messaging that would suggest, imply, or insinuate that the Thorne product is "treating," "curing," or "preventing" any disease.
FTC Compliance
Ambassador-Customer is required to comply with all Affiliate Disclosure requirements imposed by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. If the Ambassador-Customer mentions Thorne products and/or services in a digital medium (e.g., social media, blog, etc.), the posting must be accompanied with a clear and prominent disclosure of Ambassador-Customer's relationship to Thorne. Hashtag-only disclosures (e.g., #ad or #sponsored) are insufficient. The disclosure must be clear, conspicuous, and easily understood by the average consumer. For example, "I am a Thorne Ambassador and receive compensation for purchases made through my links." This disclosure must be prominently placed at the beginning of any social media post, video description, or blog post promoting Thorne products.
Ambassador-Customers must ensure that all communications and promotions of Thorne products are truthful and not misleading. Claims about Thorne products must be substantiated and should not exaggerate the benefits or outcomes. It is essential that all statements are consistent with Thorne’s official product descriptions and marketing materials. Ambassador-Customers should avoid making any claims about Thorne products that cannot be backed by scientific evidence or that are not approved by Thorne.
U.S. Internal Revenue Service - Substitute IRS Form W-9 Certification
I certify to each of the following:
- The following number is my correct Taxpayer Identification Number (or I am waiting a Taxpayer Identification Number to be issued to me): ___________________
- I am not subject to backup withholding because: (a) I am exempt from backup withholding, or (b) I have not been notified by the Internal Revenue Service that I am subject to backup withholding because of a failure to report interest or dividends, or (c) the Internal Revenue Service has notified me that I am no longer subject to backup withholding.
- I am a U.S. citizen or other U.S. person.
- The FATCA code on this form, if any, indicating that I am exempt from FATCA reporting is correct.
The Internal Revenue Service does not require consent to any provision of this document other than the certifications required to avoid backup withholding.
